Taylor Swift is one of the most beloved faces in music right now. Known as “America’s Sweetheart”, she has sold over 22 million albums and won a number of music awards. These include ten American Music Awards and six Grammies. Much of Taylor’s extraordinary success is due to the strength of her songs. The songs are composed by Taylor and are largely about her life experiences. As a result, fans are able to relate to the star because many of them are going through the same thing. The fans can thus release their emotions when they listen to the songs.

Taylor’s second album,Fearless, sold one million copies in a week and won the Grammy for Album of the Year. This honor made her the youngest person in history to win such an award. In just a few years it seems that Taylor has achieved more than some people do in a lifetime. Yet at the young age of 23, we can be sure this talented singer’s story has only just begun.

When Taylor was twelve, she learned how to play three chords on the guitar. From then on she spent most of her time practicing, writing songs, and performing. Her ambition was to become a country music singer. However, this would prove to be a challenging goal. Record labels often rejected her and said she wasn’t ready yet. Nevertheless, Taylor didn’t get discouraged and she only worked harder.
