Today, my English teacher Ms. Hung made me stay after class. When your teacher asks you to stay late, you're in trouble. My grades began to slip about a month ago. It's because of a new student Michelle.

 

今天我的英文老师洪女士要我下课后留下来。当你的老师留你下来时，你麻烦就大了。我的成绩大概在一个月前开始下滑，这全是因为新同学米歇尔。

 

When Michelle walked into our classroom last month, I was in love! Ms. Hung made her sit at the empty desk next to me. With Michelle so close, I can't focus in class.

 

在上个月米歇尔走进我们教室时，我就坠入爱河了！洪女士要她坐在我旁边的空位；在米歇尔这么靠近我的情况下，我根本无法专心上课嘛。

 

Suddenly, I heard Ms. Hung's voice. "David, are you listening ? If your grades don't improve, you'll fail."
