In Asia, and around the world, friends often gather in teahouses and leisurely chat over cups filled and refilled with hot tea. Enjoying a traditional Hakka tea called lei cha, however, is ___1___ matter. Making proper lei cha takes hard work, but if you want to sample one of the most unique teas in the world, it’s well___2___it. The word lei means “to grind” in the Hakka language, and grinding is___3___makes this tea so special.

To make lei cha, a special mortar with a rough bottom and a wooden pestle are___4___. Pine nuts, peanuts and sunflower, pumpkin, and sesame seeds are then put___5___the mortar.
