Angela: Hey Chuck, rumor has it that your negotiations with the heavy-hitters at Sun Craft went really well.

Chuck : To tell you the truth, the talk seemed like a big failure at first.

Angela: Really? What was the problem?

Chuck : Initially, we just couldn’t see eye-to-eye on things. They thought I was arrogant because of our high prices.

Angela: How did you resolve the issue?

Chuck : I convinced them that although our products are more expensive, they are of better quality. After that, we were able to make a lot of progress.

Angela: Did you strike a bargain that was good for our company?

Chuck : Yes. I finally got them to agree to the retail price.

Angela: Good job! So what’s the next step in the bargaining process?

Chuck : We’re going to meet to discuss the details of the contract next week. Then, we’ll call in our lawyers to prepare the final documents.

Angela: When do you think you can seal the deal with them?

Chuck : If all goes well, we’ll sign the contract at the beginning of next month.

Angela: Well, I wish you all the best. Maybe you’ll get a raise for all of your hard work on this project.
