 Patrick: Hey Stephanie, what are you up to this weekend?  嗨，史蒂芬妮，妳周末有事吗？

Stephanie: Oh, nothing special. Why do you ask? 噢，没什么特别的。你问这个做什么？

 Patrick: Well, some of us are going to the beach after work on Friday for the weekend. You could come with us. 嗯，我们之中有些人要在周五下班后去海滩渡假过周末。妳可以跟我们一起去。

Stephanie: Oh, I don’t know, I might be tired on Friday evening. 噢，我不确定，我周五晚上可能会很累。

Tips for Being More Persuasive 说服力大跃进

Being persuasive is one of the most important skills in communication. It is useful not just in business negotiations, but also in your social life. The power to be persuasive and influence others can be a key to success. Some people think the skill is complex because it often involves human feelings, yet you can master it through practice.

充满说服力是沟通最重要的技巧之一。它不只在商业谈判方面有用，在日常生活中也很有用。有说服力并影响他人的能力是成功的关键。有些人认为这项技巧很复杂，因为他通常牵涉到人的情感，但是你可以透过练习来掌握这项技巧。

There are many ways to be persuasive. For example, you can convince someone simply by being confident, well spoken, and acting like a leader. You can also tell someone that they will benefit themselves by helping you or agreeing with your idea. Besides that, making a person think that they are working for the greater good is another common strategy. Most people want to be a critical part of a team. Whichever technique you use, honesty is always the best policy. Once you lie, people won’t trust you the next time you try to persuade them.

有许多方式可以让你充满说服力。例如，你可以简单的依靠自信、能说善道，和表现出领袖气质来说服某人。你也可以告诉某人，帮助你或赞同你的意见将对他们自身有益。除此之外，让一个人认为他是在完成大我，是另一个常见的策略。多数人希望在团体中占有重要地位。不管你用什么手法，诚实为上策。一旦你说谎，你下次要说服人们的时候他们就不会再相信你。
