An enterprising billionaire in Cape Town has collected a selection of decommissioned fighter jets, and now offers flights in them to the public. For about US$2,000, you can rip vertically into the blue, skim mountain peaks, or mimic a dogfight. Of course, you’ll have a real pilot with you on a second set of controls.
