BIGBANG stormed onto the music scene with their first album Since 2007. The album became a giant success. BIGBANG quickly rose to fame after that. Within a year, BIGBANG had numerous number one hits on the music charts.

In 2009, the band decided to take a short break. During this time, each member took on different solo projects. After the break, BIGBANG came back stronger than ever. They returned with two great albums, Tonight and Alive. They also went on their first world tour in 2012.
