The National Basketball Association (NBA) is coming back to Taiwan with a preseason game between the Indiana Pacers and the Houston Rockets on October 13. The teams will face off in Taipei Arena. This is the second NBA preseason game played here took place in 2009, when the Denver Nuggets played against the Indiana Pacers.
美国职业篮球(NBA)将于10月13日来到台湾进行一场印第安纳溜马队对战休斯敦火箭队的季前热身赛。两队将在台北小巨蛋正面对决。这是第二次在台湾举行的NBA季前热身赛，第一次在这里举办NBA季前热身赛的时间是2009年，当时由丹佛金块队对上印第安纳溜马队。
Taiwanese fans will be some of the first to see superstar center Dwight Howard play for the Rockets. Howard was signed as part of an effort to strengthen the team’s roster and many expect the Rockets to play well this season. The Pacers are also set to be another top team this year. They almost defeated the Miami Heat, last season’s champion, in the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals.
