S: Uh, I don’t enjoy green cheese myself.

J: Come on, you know the moon isn’t actually green cheese; if it were, the rabbit who lives there would have eaten it by now!

S: You’re kidding about the lunar property, right?

J: It’s hard to say. This guy named Dennis Hope is “head cheese” of a company called Lunar Embassy that offers an acre on the moon or Mars for nineteen ninety-nine U.S.

S: What!? He’s got his head in the clouds. Didn’t the U.N. declare that no government may own extraterrestrial property?

J: Perfectly true, but it didn’t mention corporations or individuals. Hope filed land claims in San Fran back in 1980. After that, he notified the American and Russian governments and the U.N. General Assembly of his claim.
